Market opportunity

It all starts with an idea that the teams ambitiously aspire to bring to the world. It is a daunting task to start from scratch and build a business model around an idea, that can eventually grow into a self sustainable organization. We, the team behind Mergepad, have gone through it in our past journey and therefore share deep compassion to the early stage founders, especially in crypto space, as the social and governmental perception is not much good for cryptocurrencies.

Once a team is done with the ideation and business modelling, it all boils down to the toughest part of all: EXECUTION. Even the most successful entrepreneurs from around the world will not feel shy of acknowledging a fact that how grilling is the task of execution. The fact is that there are multi dimensional aspects around transforming an idea to a real life business. According to our experience, funding is only 10% of the solution for building a startup, there are other challenges that get overshadowed in the public sight.

We've found that most of the existing launchpad platforms in the crypto industry merely focus on raising capital. They have features related to the investing tools, capital distribution, staking, etc. But there is a gap between helping startups in raising capital and providing useful resources for execution. MergePad's aims to fill that gap by creating a whole ecosystem around the startups journey.

There should be a fair and robust infrastructure for raising capitals from an open investors community.

A flawless and non-custodial infrastructure to fulfill the investor's requirements and enabling them to invest capital.

After the capital gets raised from the investors, there needs a well managed system to maintain good relationship between the project team and the investors.

A decentralized governance protocol ensures the whatever happens on the network, it should have a majority consensus of the network's community. Nothing should happen behind the hoods.

After the fundraise, the startup teams are left with the capital and the plan. They require multiple resources, tools and support to execute the plan into a running business.

After a certain period when lots of projects who got funded from a launchpad, move ahead in their business journey. They acquire all the business acumens running their project. At such a point in time, those alumni projects should be guided in a culture to extend their support for the new projects being listed on the same launchpad.
